Young people urged to share views on county’s arts and culture scene

Young people from across the county are being urged to share their views on the arts and culture scene in Cumbria.

The findings will be presented to the Cumbria Arts and Culture Network on April 23 at a meeting aimed at looking into what it is like to build a career as a young person in the sector.

The group will hear about the opportunities and the barriers to working in the arts before looking ahead to what a more inclusive future for young people looks like in the county.

So, if you’re aged between 11-26, whether you’re looking at a career in the arts or just want to see more happen in your community, make your voice heard.
