More than 30 artists will be taking part in a free virtual music festival next month to help raise funds for Barrow Foodbank.

Bags of Love and Barrow Tracks – a group of media students from Furness College – have teamed up to organise the two-day event, which runs on Friday, May 14 and Saturday May 15.

Musicians taking part include Carol Hodge, Voodoo Radio, The Coulton Brothers, Emker Cel and Ray Dowling.

Audience members will be able to buy merchandise and a digital album featuring songs from the event, with profits going to the foodbank.

The festival will be streamed via the platform Vimeo and runs from 7pm to 2am on Friday and 2pm to 2pm on Saturday.

Bags of Love was created last year so local musicians could fundraise for Barrow Foodbank.
