Become the artist you’ve always wanted to be, but never dared! Eight Focussed and fun workshops using The Artists Way as a starting point.
Not just for visual artists! Poets, musicians, writers and performers are also welcome. This ever-popular course will help you develop your own creative practice, using Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way as a starting point.
Please note that these sessions will not teach you practical skills such as painting or drawing but you will learn how to more readily find sources of inspiration, and develop and focus your skills to enable you to move forward as an artist. If you are wanting to take your art more seriously or change direction, then this is the next step.
There is a 50% fee reduction for students and those on benefits/low income. Please contact me if you believe you qualify: vega@lindenprintstudio.co.uk
I have programmed 8 sessions over 12 weeks to follow each chapter of Julia Cameron’s book.
Session dates: 25 April, 9 May, 16 May, 23 May, 6 June, 13 June, 27 June, 4 July + final celebration event, date and location to be confirmed.
Booking Terms and Conditions
If you cancel your booking more than three weeks before the course start date, you will be eligible for a refund, minus a 5% administration fee.
I regret I cannot offer refunds for cancellations made less than three weeks before the course start date. At this point I will have already started making preparations including ordering materials, and it is less likely I will be able to fill your place.
If you are unable to attend, bookings can be transferred to another person. In this case, please let me know as soon as you can so I can update the booking details.
I cannot give refunds for failed attendance due to sickness, isolation due to COVID or external circumstances. I’m afraid I cannot run the sessions as ‘blended’ sessions (ie. most people attending and some attending virtually). I can offer a 1:1, 15 minute virtual catch-up meeting if you miss a session.
Postponement
I anticipate sticking to the programmed dates but reserve the right to postpone sessions due to my being ill or unforseen circumstances. If this happens I will give you a week’s notice in advance and pro-rata refunds (minus 5% admin fee) will be given if you cannot attend.
Access
Please note the Creative Quarter is up a broad flight of steps with a handrail and a landing halfway. There is no lift or wheelchair access. Seating is in pre-moulded plastic seats with no armrests. Some activities will take place standing or moving around the space. The toilet has a handrail and the door opens outwards. If you would like to attend the course but feel you need more support, please get in touch and we will do all we can to make your participation possible.
Parking
There is no dedicated parking for the Creative Quarter. We would recommend you park at the Viaduct Carpark.
